I have been in a sort of environment where the same 'Man' that would not let themselves cry at their own Mothers funeral have been the same sort that ONLY feels they can cry about a result of a certain football match and even only THEN if they get pissed first and vandalising something afterwards!

If you want to have an irrational tear, then great! good for you!

But ONLY if you allow yourself the rational ones (like grieving) happen first!

Because if you don't let yourself cry at your own Mothers funeral <as just one of many examples> then the little boys of the family watching you, looking up to you and coping to understand will find it very hard to cry at their own Mothers funeral in the far future!

It is also equally true that is can be very difficult not to see all Men as potential threats, aggressors and de-facto perpetrators and preditors.
