. "It is not THAT important to be liked." Has been said a few times, in various versions, by various people, in various ways. . I would go one stage further: Being liked is not only, "Not all that important". But being "Liked" might actually be a "bad sign" in many cases! . In over fifty years of life - - I never yet met a popular person in person, Who was not a horrible nasty little petty shit behind the scenes! It seems to me, That you can't be "super cool and popular" without lying to and manipulating each person's opinion about everyone else! . Personally,  I'd rather keep my integrity and stay lonely instead. .

Sometimes, when despite everything, I still find that I miss my ex, Even though I have access to a bed, I sleep on the couch like I used to, so I do not miss her as much.  - How Stupid, Sad and Pathetic am I!!
