Although, I heavily suspect the deep drive behind each of us is very similar!

That would be because of just one too many people,
that just that one too many times,
said that we would never be able to do it...

And that one moment pissed us off just enough to go from simply accepting what we were always told,
over the line too

“Screw this!”
“I am going doing it!”
“Not just to it,”
“But do extra and become extra good at it!”

Instead!

In my case, I was told once too many times that I was far too stupid and thick to ever learn to read.

Ironically by the same ‘sort’ of people that will slap out.

The same ‘sort’ of ‘people’ who cry

Some train for Marathons after beating cancer.
.
Some climb a mountain after losing a limb in a car crash.

Some achieve deep romantic love unlike the rest of us will ever know after a horrible facial burn disfigures us.

Some learn to use emotional abuse they have suffered to heal others instead of letting themselves be defined and consumed by it.

As a person who is so badly dyslexic that I struggled against massive odds to even be able to achieve even the most basic reading until nearly 11,
