No child simply popped into existence from a vacuum.
Neither was their Mother and Father.
And every generation was supported by some form of “Village”.

BUT REMEMBER
You were just born Lucky,
Nothing more.

You may inherit both glory and the shame of our shared past cultural victories and sins.
But we did not commit any of the sins or earn the credit for any of the victories.

Your genetics and upbringing may be from others.
But your mind, body and soul should be your own.

The blame for all your actions stops and ends with you alone!

Privilege ‘may’, Never be, Just itself alone, In any way wrong!

BUT a needless unearned sense of entitlement IS!

Recognise your privilege.
Everyone has some measure of it.
Or they would just be the human remains of a dead baby!

What sort of ancestor's bones, will you be to stand on?
What sort of corpse will you be, holding up the next generation?
What glory and the shame? Victories and sins will you leave behind?

What you do with this random, lottery won, measure of birthright
!

Do not be upset
By being told that you have white privilege

Just accept the fact that you have it and try to re-address that inequality.

Do not be upset at someone anyone
.
Who has already been born, for having white privilege

HOWEVER!

By anyone feeling entitled to keep that privilege,
At the expense of any other fellow human beings!
Who, just randomly, happened to not be born as lucky!

Some are lucky enough to be born with white privilege in this last generation

BUT…

It is NOT ok for any future generations to see any white privilege

Why being called "Privileged"
is NOT an insult!

Privilege is NOT, in itself, any way wrong!
